Eduardo Riomao, of Oceanside, New York, passed away peacefully on March 16, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of love, strength, and devotion to his family. He was born on September 9, 1935, in Tal, Spain.

Eduardo emigrated with his family to the United States in 1969, settling in Brooklyn, and in 1986, they moved to Oceanside, to his dream home on the water.

He was predeceased by his beloved wife, Carmen, with whom he shared 59 wonderful years of marriage—a partnership built on deep love, resilience, and unwavering commitment.

Eduardo was a devoted father and is survived by his sons: Pepe (Melisa), Eddie (Teresa), and Michael (Liz). He took great pride in his family and found immense joy in watching it grow.

He was a cherished grandfather to his three grandchildren—Xeila, Michael, and Olivia—who brought him endless happiness and laughter. His presence in their lives will always be remembered with love.

Eduardo dedicated twenty-five years of his life to his construction company, building homes in Brooklyn—a testament to his strong work ethic, craftsmanship, and entrepreneurial spirit. Beyond his work, Eduardo and his beloved wife Carmen were known for their generosity and compassion. Together, they opened their home to many friends and family who arrived in the United States, offering support, guidance, and a helping hand to those in need of employment or a fresh start. Their home was a place of warmth, kindness, and opportunity.

An avid fisherman, Eduardo found peace and joy on the water, embracing the quiet moments and simple pleasures that came with time spent on his boat, The American Dream.

Eduardo will be remembered for his kindness, quiet strength, and the deep care he showed to those around him. His legacy lives on through the family he loved so dearly.

A memorial service will be hosted by New Leaf Cremation at Macken Mortuary, 52 Clinton Ave, Rockville Centre, NY 11570 on Saturday, March 28th, from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. Burial will be private.
