Jarod Shambo, a beloved son, father, and brother passed away unexpectedly on December 11 th , 2022, at his grandmother's home in Jamaica, NY at the age of 42.
Jarod is survived by his parents, father, Patrick Shambo, mother, Sandra Ellis, Grandmother, Syliva Tucker, his sisters, Latoya Shambo, Felicia Ellis, and Mercedes Ellis and brothers, Jamal Shambo, and Jhalani Shambo. Followed by 3 kids, Joshua Gonzalez, Dorian JayAnthony Shambo, and Jardon Denzel Shambo.
Jarod was born in Brooklyn, NY on January 18 th , 1980, he moved to Texas, where he was able to start a new school, there he was able to join the basketball and football team where he left a long-lasting impression with his coaches. His younger sister recalls getting free passes not to patriciate in P.E due to the work he put in on the court and the field, she was "Shambo's sister." Jarod would then move on to Job Corps to obtain career skills, after completion he worked in construction alongside his father.
Jarod valued family, growing up he looked forward to holidays when we were all together at his grandmother's home.
Jarod is predeceased by his Grandfather Cent Shambo and Grandmother Ula Shambo.
