John Michael "Johnny" Phoomahal

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of John Michael "Johnny" Phoomahal, who passed away on June 10, 2026, at the age of 71.

Johnny was a man with a one-of-a-kind sense of humor, a generous heart, and a quiet kindness that touched everyone who knew him. He never sought the spotlight, but those fortunate enough to know him understood how special he truly was. His quick wit, unforgettable expressions, and ability to make people laugh will be remembered by family and friends for years to come.

Of all the things Johnny loved, nothing compared to spending time with his family. His four grandchildren—Christian, Lucas, Miles, and Callie—were the light of his life.

He is survived by his sons, Jason and Justin. Justin's wife, Sheila and his beloved grandchildren, Christian, Lucas, Miles, and Callie; along with extended family and dear friends who will forever cherish his memory.

Although our hearts are broken, we find comfort in knowing that Johnny is no longer in pain and at peace. He will live on in the laughter he inspired, the love he shared, and the memories he created with those he cherished most.

His family asks that those who remember Johnny honor him by spending time with the people they love, sharing a laugh, casting a fishing line, and appreciating life's simple moments—just as he always did.
