It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Luis O Soto, a beloved son, brother, uncle and friend. Luis was a puzzle enthusiast who left us on May 6, 2025. Luis was born on Nov 19, 1964 in Jayuya, Puerto Rico to Onofre Soto y Carmen DeLeon. He attended and graduated from New York School for the Deaf.
Born with an insatiable curiosity, Luis found his passion early in life. Whether it was jigsaw puzzles, board games or the strategic intricacies of 3D model puzzles, he embraced them all with a contagious enthusiasm. Those who knew Luis best will remember him for his creativity and unwavering determination to solve any challenge put before him. He believed that every puzzle, whether simple or complex, had a solution, and they carried that mindset into every aspect of life.
Luis was known for gifting puzzles and crafts to his loved ones. His memory will live on in every puzzle completed. Luis also loved his family, he loved his nieces and nephews wholeheartedly. He is survived by our mother, Carmen deleon, whom he cherished and by his sisters, Carmen and Awilda.
