Mary Ellen was predeceased by her husband, John J. McCann, and her son, John G. McCann. She is survived by her daughter, Susan E. McCann, and her grandson, John McCann, who will forever carry forward her love, her steadiness, and the values she instilled.

Throughout her long life, Mary Ellen was known for her elegance, a quiet grace that shaped the way she moved through the world. A Funeral Mass and a Remembrance Moment will be held on Saturday, June 20, 2026, at 10:45 am at St. Kilian Roman Catholic Church, 485 Conklin Street, Farmingdale, NY 11735.
