Paul Antoine Gligannon

Gilgannon – Paul Antoine, of Rosedale, Queens, born on February 25, 1965, died on May 5, 2025 at 60 years old. Paul was appointed to Detective 3rd grade on June 4, 1999 and was a first responder on Sept.11,2001. He retired from the NYPD on December 31, 2006.. In addition to his dedication to the police force, Paul was a self-taught musician, a writer, an avid reader and an artist. He was predeceased by his parents, Genevieve and Daniel R Gilgannon; and survived by seven siblings and eight nieces and nephews. A private service followed by cremation will be held Monday, May 12, 2025. A memorial service will be planned. Donations may be made in Paul's name to the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention @afsp.org.
