Trina Hollis

Trina Hollis was born on May 5, 1974, in New York to the late Robert and Ruby Hollis.  She departed this life on January 22, 2025.  Trina was the youngest of Robert and Ruby's 11 children.

Trina was raised in the City of Long Beach, New York.  She graduated from Long Beach High School.  Being a child of God, Trina was baptized in her early youth at the Christian Light Missionary Baptist Church of Long Beach.  As an adult Trina dedicated her life to caring for her mother.

Trina loved to cook meals for her family and loved ones.  Family and friends would frequently gather at her home to celebrate holidays and share special occasions.  Trina showed her love through her cooking and always prepared delicious meals for everyone to enjoy.

Another one of Trina's great pleasures was taking care of her many nieces and nephews.  They all loved being with her and looked to her as a mother figure.

Trina leaves behind her siblings: Melvin (Marion), Tony, Vanessa Washington (Bobby), Kimberly Schuller (James), Kevin, Stephan (Beverly), Marcie, Jerrold (Gina), Tommy Mayfield and Pamela Williams.

Predeceasing Trina in death are her parents, Robert and Ruby Hollis, and her brothers Azon and Jermiah.

Trina was a kind and loving daughter, sister, aunt, and friend.  She gave selflessly to her family and all of those she loved.  She will truly be missed.
